Wow Barb, this is spectacular. I really love it. It's like a gigantic extra terrestrial squid, with fabric for skin. (It's like the stuff they make car carpeting out of, or some industrial fabric that stands up to major impact.) And you have a big celestial nova in the background. And it's all in grays and whites, a great choice for this underwater creature. Really fine use of fractal, I love it. A real knockout.

I had planned to do a session in your gallery tonight, but I got sidelined by an infection, and didn't do a thing. I'll come back here very soon. (The last 2 weeks, I got a huge infection on my finger, and had to have it cut and treated, and then had about 10 days of getting rid of it. It tired me out about half of each day, though I was fine the other half. And it was almost gone, but flared up again---which they said isn't uncommon---and I just decided to do nothing until it got better. I'm taking stuff for it...That's why I disappeared. I'll be back here soon. I'm not complaining, considering all that some others are dealing with---like you, with your mother. But I just wanted you to know I didn't forget!)
