Description

Still working on it. Tried several different saucer animations, but this is the one I'm using. Frame 001: Saucer emerges from the back of the building just a few seconds after the car & guy. It banks hard to line up a shot. Frame 002: Saucer takes a shot at the car and misses (lazer beams added in After Effects) Frame: 003: Saucer shoots again, almost hitting the guy. There's many different layers to this effect; The guy running, the car speeding by, the saucer (made an animated in Lightwave), and the lazor blasts. This is my first attempt at After Effects, and it's little rough around the edges, but if I had more time, I know it would come out great. It was a fun project.

comming along nicely! Especially for a first time! Try making the beam a bit stronger in the middle. It looks a bit transparent. There is a great tut for After Effects beams at : http://www.dvgarage.com/garage/a2d/tut/tutpast/tutpast_view/tutpast_view.php?tutdate=02_02_25&renders=0&projectfiles=no Good luck!
