Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

It is not suppose to be that big. It makes it look bad. If you press the blue botton you get a smaller and nicer picture in my opinion. Guess I made a bad photo. Was a little too big for my scanner.

Oh, I think BIG is more beautiful, my friend, I also like how it's full of fantasy with all those soft and beautiful textures. The drawing of the portrait looks lovely, she has a great expression in the eyes. Such a good therapy, Helle!!! (Haha, you gave me a very good therapy too this afternoon with that stunning laughing 'lady' , I just came home from my therapist, Mieke, but yours was better) Wishing you a good sleep to night ;-)

I like it that I've come here early and only you and Jacomina have been here. This morning after Lucinda left to go home to San Antonio, I went back to sleep, and had a dream that I was on my way to your house. As I was checking my map, knowing I was only a mile or so away, I passed by Jacomina and Karel's house, where I could hear Karel playing the piano, and Jacomina was sitting out in front of the house on her terrace. (I have seen pictures of her house, and of course in my dream it was totally different, just as her part of The Netherlands is not a mile down the road from your part of Denmark! LOL!) I profusely apologized for dropping in unannounced (which of course she didn't mind), and Karel came out to help me figure out how to get to your town from there. It was quite lovely, knowing I was going to see you both in the same day! :) As far as I can remember, I have never dreamed of either of you before this morning, so who knows what that was about? :P
I love it when you do color, whether collage or some other medium, and then draw or paint a figure over the top. Of course you know that, because one of those hangs in my house in Texas! :) But I am consistently enchanted by this style. It's a wonderful piece!

Just LOVE it ! This is so Romantic, in the Romantic era sense of the word., Jane Austen and so on. I love the expression and and the wistful look in the eyes!
What a fab dream Tara had, perhaps that is inspiration for another piece of art!

(Whoa, what a dream tara just had: DK and The Netherlands a block apart...and you and Jacomina a block apart. What a dream! If only the world were that accessible---I'd be over for lunch tomorrow!)
Anyway, I love this, Helle! I love it. I love the clear parts, and the muddled parts, and the spontaneous rushed feeling, and then the very thoughtful feeling of that portrait right in the middle of it all. On maps, and painted sections---it looks like the wall of a city which had lots of posters on it, which have been torn down and worn away by time...Decay and presence in the same piece. So it's smaller? Well I see a pen, I think, and it looks the right size, so I think I'm seeing it correctly. You may not know what's pouring out of you, but you have art pouring out of you, Helle, and this is terrific. Whatever you're doing, keep it up! You're a master of mixing media, and you do it physically as well as digitally. (And thanks so much for your terrific comments, all in a gush, in 2 or 3 days. I owe you a letter, and I'll get to it as soon as I step away from rr for a bit...)

A lovely, subtle assortment of indefinable lines and color strips in this therapeutic collage, Helle.

I was going back over your gallery and this one popped out at me. It really shows a lot of inner emotion ... even a little turmoil ... at least from my perspective. I really like it. Good work.
