Can't believe I am the first to comment on this gorgeous artwork. Everything is as it should be in a superior fantasy scene. The dragon is wonderful and yet he does not upstage the Queen at all. So beautiful!

This is STUNNING! Looks just like a Boris Vallejo painting (and from me, that is high praise). Really good choices on the lighting on her face (just enough light to see it, just enough shadow to add drama). And I like the color choices on the green gems. Not too reflective, and not too transparent -- just right. The only thing I'm not in love with is the fire. It's just a little too subtle. Perhaps a tint of color to the outer edges (green, to match the gemstones) would help? The more I look at this, the more I am impressed. I really like the way the shadow looks on her leg. I also like the effect on the shoulder, but can't help but wonder if the light from the staff is being adequately represented on her face and shoulder? Just wondering. BTW: I adore what you did with her hair. Love those dark areas. VERY nicely done. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
