ditto, all the above. When someone's ill or they have a loss, people can forget that, when the wishes are all over, the sick or bereaved are still healing...sometimes the real healing starts only after those first hugs are over...so it's wonderful that you're keeping the wishes going for Mike. I know he has re-training to do, and it can be exhausting (I've known stroke victims); and there are days when one feels all alone, even with loved ones around. Thanks for reminding him that we're all very aware. And man, what an image for him...

You've taken flower petals and made them wings for this child---one of your signature children, rendered so naturally as you always do. And a pink teddy bear, also with petal wings and little flowers behind them. And other flowers around the piece, to remind Mike that flowers are everywhere...A beautiful image, and I second all the wishes above and hope that Mike is making progress---however quickly or slowly---and wishing all the strength he can get, to heal thoroughly. Keep healing, Mike! (And a wonderful dedi, Dee...)
