story and windblown. part of me wants to walk along the water-break wall and part of me wants to hide behind this tree and just watch. knowing me... I'll just watch. :)

Very nice capture Mark. The tree in the foreground forms a very nice contrast to the background.

SUPERB! This is very restrained, which I love.

WOW! SO fantastic and I can hear the lake roaring :)

This one has a kind of surreal quality - the sharp detail of the tree against that pastel purple background makes it seem like a photo collage to me, reminiscent of some of the psychedelic poster artists from the 60's...

A wonderful surreal look to this. I guess you got over your fear of Photoshop.

This has such a feeling of ... waiting. Yes. Waiting. Suspended time, hovering. The oh-so-pale colors, your beautiful composition ... it's gorgeous. I don't know when you did this, but it's among your best. Really fine work. I have a hard time letting things be pale, and I admire your ability to make this so light and airy and let it just BE that.

cool take

Fine quasi silhouetted shot of what appears to be the dead of winter in this one. I like the depth and the definition of the tree and its many intricate offshoots.

I see another eye in the dark trunk of this sturdy tree, as the tree stands like a guard over the winter view. This is the kind of tree you can lean against for support, and maybe even hug, and talk to.
