I agree with Andrea about the clay surface in the bronze. A fine closeup, because you've cropped it to put the face right in our face. And you caught that stern/serious quality to Mann's face. And the background is quite bright, to balance the darker violet hues of the sculpture. A fine job on this, Christian. A very fine crop. (In college, I studied several novels and short stories by Mann, auf Deutsch, and I found it very difficult, since I didn't know Deutsch very well. But we were all very impressed with his powerful prose. And, for my music class on the Beethoven Sonaten, we studied Doktor Faustus, because Mann discusses Beethoven's last sonata in the book. So I get a strong feeling whenever I see Mann's name or his face...)
