Description
This is some Harbour Porpoise vertebrae.
A friend collected the body of this animal from the beach at Lyme Regis, and gave me the skull and these neck vertebrae as a present.

This is superb! It's intimate, and inspiring, and wholly satisfying. I try to avoid comparisons, but this has a feeling of Georgia O'Keeffe's skull-in-the-desert paintings. I like it so well I put it on my desktop so I can look at it every day until I've had my fill. :)
