Hi,
I return. Have been to the wonderful RAF Scampton Airshow, their first official. Multi national and very big. Usual British weather but some brilliant aircraft and some firsts.
First up this. You may have heard the awful news about the BBMF and their Merlin trouble. All engines being grounded, which as you can imagine, kinda closed it down except for Griffon Spitfires. Well, after a huge effort by RAF Technicians and others including Rolls Royce one Hurricane and the Lancaster were made airworthy two days before the show!
Here, with maybe my finest BBMF photo is the flight, and if you are lucky, and that link works that is the video from the Lancaster over Scampton.

Oh, WOW! A flying Lanc! Great shot. And how fortunate you were to be able to get these photos! Keep up the good work. I expect we'll be seeing more of these great planes in upcoming weeks! :-)

The total effort is appreciated definitely including your own. Now I realize from your other story why the dog knows exactly where I am when I meet he and his girl walking sometimes four days in a row as I begin my walk at different times and run or walk in an area of hills and valleys
