Description

After millennia of black silence, in a secret underground lab, the android was suddenly aware of a light source. Dim, but identifiable in the distance. Breaking free from the storage unit that had been it's home since the fall of the creators, it claws and digs it's way toward the light. Finally breaking through to a vast expanse of light and wonder. So much stimuli, it's processors running at full speed for the first time since initial boot-up, it attempts to process all of the sensory input. Suddenly, far above, it hears a screech as a hawk swoops down to investigate this new creature. The hawk is not afraid as it has always been the apex predator in these parts, so it lands on the out stretched limb of this new comer. The android gazes at the hawk and mutters the first words heard on this planet in over 2000 years, "What manner of machine are you?" Thanks for stopping by

Nice story & bot texture. I am always a fan of DoF, though since the hawk is the center of your story I think it deserves some focus, too. But then again: nag, nag, nag. Still like it ;D

Well, the android is the true centre of the story, but I see your point. The hawk is out of focus to hide the lack of detail in the model and textures when rendered in Iray... We have to work with what we have...
