Description

Drow Cookie at the beach - just fooling around with DS doing occupational therapy of sorts by using my right hand to control the mouse As some of you may have noticed, I have tromped through your galleries as quickly as I could but slow enough to enjoy your wonderful art. If I missed anyone, please give me a shout. the only thing I have left to do is meet with the Occupational Therapist to work on my Fine Motor Skills on my right side

Very nice work here. You've got this Mike. It will take time and work but the brain has an amazing ability to rewire itself. You are a strong person and should do well in occupational therapy.

Cute scene!

Wishing you success with your time with the OT. I had a great one last year after my accident--she would walk beside me while I tooled around the blocks of town near the rehabilitation center. She got a break from the work-a-day tedium, and I felt like I got a temporary release from "prison." haha Praying for your successful rehab.

I decided to exercise my fingers by playing keyboards once again and it's surprising how stiff and inarticulate fingers can become!

Just thought that if you've ever played piano, could you try playing simple scales with your right hand?

I can assure you, after our dog nearly ripped my finger off, I've been playing and stretching my finger span with sessions on the keyboard and can highly recommend it to gain movement. Even if you don't play, it's the action of pressing down keys which keeps your muscles supple and I do realise it's the identification of certain movements that can also be improved. I'm trying to make recovery as enjoyable as possible for you Mike and not trying to make you play piano at Carnegie Hall! lol

she is cuter than a bug in a rug. I have never understood why anyone would think a bug in a rug was cute

are you right handed? if so, things must be very difficult for recovery
