Well I got my old stuff back, but problems I have been trying to solve for 2 months still remain. It would appear 3rd party morphs for any Gen 8 figure will not work. Due to the length of time I am not sure if they will give me my money back. Of course that really limits my use of Gen 8 figures. I do not know if tech support has an answer but considering I did a total reinstall of DIM and the Studio I doubt it, and it takes them a almost a week to reply.

I'm glad you got some stuff back but I'm sorry other things aren't working. :( this scene made me smile, her (your) frustration is well shown and understood. I love the stormy weather out her window. there's a reason why I haven't re-loaded my DAZ files, too.

As a matter of fact it does. As it well should since DAZ created V4. DAZ studio however does not handle everything associated with her and one has to go to the content directory to access them.

I've followed both Poser and DAZ from their beginnings. Somehow I could never get the hang of DAZ. And DAZ having gobbled up some of the other 3D vending sites and not having compatibility has put me off. I really like this image. Nice point with the storm clouds. T.Rex is wondering if you could post without the purple dress - he wants to see how "yummie" you are in your birthday suit! Keep up the good work and good luck finding solutions to your problems. I understand since my home computer crashed totally last Saturday, so I'm sneaking this on my work computer and trying to find someone who can find/make a 32 bit machine whiich can run WinXP. Keep up the good work! :-)

I am so sorry for your problems. The image says it all. We've all experienced that crash .Image Backups work wonders if you do them but who wants to rebuild a whole disk from one because of DAZ. I feel you my friend and good luck.

These are morphs I bought separately from DAZ but are made by third party vendor "SF-Design". The morphs do not load at all. Only the icons show up but they do nothing. I was having problems with some other Gen 8 morphs but the uninstall and reinstall of DIM and Studio resolved those problems. I have asked DAZ for a refund since they can not resolve problem, and their last comment was to contact the 3rd party vendor. Of course, they did not give me any info on how to contact the vendor. They also stated they are not responsible for 3rd party vendors product.I pointed out I bought the product from them not the 3rd party, and their current web page has removed the ability to contact the vendor directly. I put in a trouble ticket 3 days after purchase and they normal defund period has long since past since DAZ will respond about once a week and there answers like the last one are no help at all or discuss a problem I do not have. I have come to the conclusion that DAZ tech support personnel are not very smart. I had one rep on another trouble ticket tell me he could not help me because I only sent him screen shots of the problem and not a video of it. This rep also wanted a file that was so big DAZ servers would not accept it. He then insisted that I install 3rd party software on my system to upload file to a drop box. I refused his request that I get another 3rd party program on my computer to do videos he requested.His big thing was that programs were free, so why should I mind. I am always suspicious of "free programs" as there is usually a hidden catch. My SSD C: drive is full and I have no room for another program. I have purchased a bigger SSD drive, but found out I needed another cable USB to clone the drive to replace the current full C: drive. Anyhow, I am awaiting for DAZ to make a decision on weather they will give me a refund on multiple products all from vendor SF-Design that do not work. I expect them to take their usual week to reply.

Ah the joys of tech support! I haven't touched G8. I'm getting sick of the lack of backwards compatibility in these new figures, it just seems like a cash grab to make you buy the same junk over and over again.
