Now I like me a C-17. Hated riding in C 130s, disliked the one time I was in a C-141, but nothing but rock-steady power in a C-17. Gives a great ride, far as military transport aircraft go. @T.Rex - It can carry one combat-ready M1 or two in "transport configuration" with no ammo no fuel and the modular armor removed.
