Thought I'd post something different than my usual for a change.
UNCLE TOM'S TRAIL
Yellowstone National Park
The trail takes you from the top of Yellowstone's "Grand Canyon" to the base of the 308' (about 94 meters) Lower Falls. As precarious as these stairs look, they are quite substantial, and definitely a better option than park visitors had early in the last century. "Uncle Tom" gave tours of the canyon by lowering visitors down on a rope. Now that I think about it, that sounds kind of fun! lol

Impressive view. I'd love to be able to take that trail if I visit Yellowstone again, though I know a lot of people who would freak out over it...

I missed several things on my visit there, because of the west road was closed for bridge repairs. I would have loved going down this and slower back up! great capture
