My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Gosh! I used to love playing in places like that when I was a child. We never thought about the danger!

I too, used to spend time in old buildings as a child. Now I look back and wonder how we survived.
Neat capture.

Yes, it has definitely seen better days, yet somehow it has become the subject of an appealing photo. The aesthetics of decay is a strange phenomena...

Definitely needs work. A great reminder that nature always wins.

What a great look this photo makes by your POV through a window, and I too love the sharpness, as colours and texture from what once was a roof. But where is the fiddler? LOL ( If I were a rich man, I maybe could build it up again )

Oh, my. Abandoned. Lying about as so much unrecycled trash. So typically human. Yet, has a charm of its own. What did it look like in its hey-day? What's it like inside today? Go exploring anyone? Keep up the good work. :-)

Great shot Tara. Almost looks like one of the Caribbean Islands after Irma came through!
