Great capture! My very first car was a (ancient at the time, lest anyone think I'm dating myself beyond what I deserve to be dated ) 1955 red and gray Studebaker, ugly enough to cause stomach pain, but boy could it lay some rubber when the traffic lights turned green. Other than that, it held no resemblance to the sleek beauty in this photo.

This car is amazing in a sci-fi sort of way, but looks somewhat clumsy/clunky when compared to the original . Studebaker and another wonderful car, Packard, unfortunately quietly disappeared. Today's cars have all sorts of gizmos, bells and whistles, but really are junky crap when compared to the pre-1960 autos.
