A Cornish town used to taking the full force of Winter storms. I have seen photos of waves crashing over the clock tower.

Thanks for that blinkings. I saw similar black and white photos that are even more spectacular in the local gift shops. No protection here from the South Westerlies. There are some lovely beaches in this area but swimming has to be avoided because of the shelving sands and riptides.
