Description
My best friend and loving companion, Chloe, passed away today, 09/15/2017. My heart, of course, is broken, but in spite of all the physical hurdles she endured (like a champ), she lived to a good age, 14 years and 8 months. She came into my life when she was 6-weeks old. So we had a good, long relationship. Better than most marriages I should add.
She's the last dog for me. Not only am I getting on in years, I simply cannot endure another loss of a dear companion, something most who have lost a furry companion can understand.
The center photo is a bit blurry, but still is good enough to show how beautiful she was.

She was a beautiful dog, Barb. Sorry you lost your best friend and 4 legged family member. It hurts when we loose a life we love of any kind. Nice collage. My cat Dixie was my last pet, when she passed I felt like no more even though you see so many cute kittens around.

very sorry for your loss. I know how you feel. after my two outside dogs are gone, I will likely not have anymore. I can not keep a nice backyard with them digging dirt for a cooler place to lay.
your dog was very beautiful

So very sorry for your loss. I understand the pain of losing a dear, canine friend. I fully expect my "little girl" to come bounding up to greet me at the Pearly Gate, just like she always greeted me as I walked in the door of home (even if I had only been gone a few minutes). :)
Praying for peace and comfort in your life during this time of grief.

Thank you all for your kind comments. It is at times such as this that a kind word goes a long way. I still keep looking over my shoulder to where her bed was, thinking I would see her lying there. I live alone and her passing hits me to my core. I really feel so alone now. I know in time it will get better since this ain't my "first rodeo." But no matter how many times one goes through this experience, it never gets easier.
