Those little aphids look like tiny centipedes. Your excellent macro illustrates how creepy they actually are. Using a steady stream of water on your plants each day helps to control these guys.

Take some soft soap water (not liquid dish soap) and spray it over them. this will remove any kind of insects from the plants.

Nice shot I had aphids all over my nastursan plants had to collect ladybirds from a local Field to try and get rid of them fortunately it worked within a couple of days
