again, zoom is the whole enchilada, as the dragon has wonderful ceramic sheen, it seems made of some futuristic plastic. I love the seep reddish scales, and purple underside, and that stark white for wings. (Those are wings, right? It's been years since I dealt with dragons!) You have Cassie's face half buried, which brings out the intimacy of the moment. (And btw, "quiet time with a dragon" is a great sentence: I grew up thinking dragons were loud, loud, loud---kind of a mix between trump, mike ditka and gilbert gottfried.) She's done beautifully. And you have it against white again---man you know how to use that color. It's a color lots of artists save for very special 'occasions'---very specific spots, etc. But you use it broadly and so well. Another fine image with a single theme. Beautifully done.
