My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Justifiably pleased I would say. The people in the background bokeh really add a nice touch.

OK, Tara, you know the protocol: I'm very slow in my comments, so I usually can't comment on everything I've missed, unless I"m on RR for a month or more. But I'll do as many as I can, and probably in two sessions. And you know that what I skip is ONLY because of time, not because of quality: There isn't a lesser image IN your gallery, so it's strictly from time. As an old friend used to say, "stuh-RICT-ly, sirrah!"
(And you know what? You leave me long comments---how do you keep up? Maybe you mix your comments between long and short across the galleries---I don't know; I tend to go long everywhere. I just know that I can't keep up---andI have to EDIT my comments too, because the first drafts are unreadable, and you can't imagine how much time that takes me...ugh...But enough of that: To your art!!!)
Love this shot. Full view, your orange-yellows and reds are just eye caressing. And the mix of focus with bokeh is a bouquet to itself. THe background---where we can see some people---is a bright and beautiful abstraction to the flowers upfront. and the dark bottom 6th or so is like a frame. These emerge from darkness to light, and it's a glorious sensual shot. And I get using this as a frame to your wedding series: It's a perfect frame, because of how flowers are associated with wedlock. The most sensual extension of the plant world---flowers---as an invitation to marriage! Beautiful piece of art.
