Tim Allen has a Ford almost identical to this one. on Road Track he has a race with Jay Leno. Leno has a Camry body that was placed on a Nascar race car
too bad the video is not available now but you can see Allen's 56 Ford and Jay's 875 HP Camry

if had seen the rear, then I would know which one it is by the lights. you are probably correct. I recall 55's being much plainer than the 56 especially the Crown Victoria
