Description

I tried to get a good shot here, but the sun was just going down, you cant see how bright the colours are in this shot, so I plan to go back in the next few days when it clears up outside to hopefully get a better view. Also was using some cheap free film from walmart or somewhere I got when I developed with the one hour photo place. :S quality of the film sucks and the colours are pretty much destroyed. I tried to fix it up best I could in photoshop. But Ill get a better shot soon :) I promise

What a neat place! And you timed the water just right. [Ansel Adams observed that when shooting through trees like this the little patches of sky will always be too bright compared with everything else. One thing to try is to crop out the upper third (when you make the shot), exposing for just the bottom 2/3. Or. maybe you'll get one of those wonderful mornings with fog, so you can use the light streaming through the trees.] How nice for you that this place is so close. Photograph it in all kinds of different weather!

you say the colors are destroyed, but its so amazing, it looks like something out of a dream, all green and blues with slight warm hues. this picture looks like haven paradise. Greens and blues are my favorite tones, just amazing.
