Description
Don't let her beguiling way fool you and don't gaze into her eyes for too long. If you are careless, she will trick you to take ownership of your soul.

She's going to have to fight someone else for it as it was hocked a long time ago! Great work

I sure want to avoid her. Love her gothic look and setting.

dark and scary, but she's beautiful, too.

Of all the souls it pleased her to capture, it was the men of the new sciences she craved the most. Not because they were easy pray, no far from it. But they had a clarity that the superstitious, the pious and especially the false pious lacked and could never appreciate. Not a candle lit spirit pleased to soak in a self imposed darkness - 'the mystery' as they called it and she would laugh at that. But cold and crystalline, much like herself, but of greater range. Ever reaching beyond the bounds, never accepting any bounds. And so ruthlessly, almost heartlessly tearing down those shades.
The taste of that first astronomer left her transfixed for what was an eternity in a moment. In that possession she beheld the grandeur of the rings of Saturn as he both saw and imagined them. Never had a mortal made her feel so small and never had such magnificent scale and subtlety been revealed to her. Made a part of her. She was intoxicated by the mathematics, the movement, the truth, the perfection. She had never known bodily human pleasures - save through the distorted memories of her victims - but this surely was such transcendence. She wept for all the wasted centuries of her own ignorance. She rejoiced for the enlightened ages to come.
And in return, those chosen few live forever as part of her.
