A sci-fi remake of the "questionable" fantasy film... The best of which was Tanya Roberts bathing in a waterfall!

Yeah, the books were from the'60's - the movie was "based" on them, but only used the idea of a guy who could talk to animals.

NIce conceptualization of the original material. Yeah, the original Andre Norton stories were apparently too high falutin' sci-fi for the film makers, so they went with low budget muscles and breasts fantasy. Hosteen Storm, ex-Ranger for the Terran military(now ex-Terra, since though we won the last interstellar war, Earth got glassed), and now re-settled in Earth's remaining colonies, was a MUCH more interesting character.

Yes! Norton has never been treated well by Hollywood, but her original stories rock!
