OODLES OF DOODLES
Anyone who comments about this post "Robert, get a life," or "Robert, you need professional help," will get no argument from me. hahaha What can I say? I'm a doodler. That's what I am. ;-)
Thanks for stopping by my gallery. I hope everyone had a great weekend and now will have an equally great week.
Blessings.

I'm deeply impressed, Robert, and I'm speechless. Have to think of: "One doodle a day keeps the doctor away". LOL. So I hope we will see a daily doodle from you, dear friend.

I've seen nearly every image of every artist I like here, since I was away, but somehow I missed this. I realized I wasn't following you, so I am now. But lord: What everyone else said. Where did this cornucopia come from??? These are tremendous. You've traversed so much in the history of comic drawing, and of course of straight figure drawing and sketching. You've got studies of form and texture and shading and crazy faces...you've included sketches on lined paper, and colored sketches and black and white; and going back many years. You've got some very fine serious drawings here, some with flat color, others with shaded/modeled colors. And lots of line work, and others with none. Old and young, silly and contemplative. Even some whap/zap/bang stuff, right out of comic books (or the late 60s Zap people), etc. YOu have a series of bunny faces---or some such creatures---and dogs and cats and great wild characters, and at least one Einstein---with a cowboy hat (he wore a lotta THOSE while figuring out the shape of the cosmos at Princeton! i picture him riding to class on a steer, hollering "ya-hoooooo!"). I hope everyone saw these full size: This is a treasure chest. Terrific. Love the "Paperwork" one, and you even have some 30's figures ("read all about it")...man, am I glad I found this! Terrific once more!
