A fabulous capture of what I thought was a leek flower.

I think Helle is correct - I would say a leek. I had several of these in my allotment garden and cut them off and placed them in a paper sack to collect the seed for next years leeks !!

The composition is haiku-like, with that broad horizontal swath across the image---the pale beige-orange swath a third of the way up from the bottom---crossing behind the vertical stem of the flower. And the flower head---the actual blooms themselves---is a stark rounded pointy thing in perfect contrast with the stem. Your deep green and black background (in bokeh) is the soft flowing part that contrasts with the strong lines and relief of the flower. Another poem from you. Finely done.
