My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

wonderful capture and interesting stats

Great capture!
You must be a long-lost sister of my wife. She keeps stats like that, too. She just signed us up for a cruise in December of next year. She's mentioned 419 days several times today. Tomorrow I'll hear 418 days. Then 417... hahaha
Me, I'm lucky to remember what day I'm in.

Obsessive compulsive types are some of my favorite people. This poor guy looks like he had the same rhinoplasty as Michael Jackson.

3000, wow. Now that's a lot of memories.

It's ten years for me too, this September just gone.. I removed a lot of my photos some time ago, so I've no idea how many I posted.
What I would like to see, however, is the ability to edit a post without reloading the image every time! There are several pics I want to add to albums.

Excellent shot of this portrait, Tara.
Yes, I still miss my statistiks over how many uploads I have. AND....I gave up ages ago sorting out ALLLLL my images into albums one by one. Is there a better way of doing it, that I dont know about? And I have also suggested, that if someone is replying on a comment I give, I actually get an e-bot about it. How many go back to look for the answer? Maybe the feedback in the right side of this page doesnt even work, as I never got feedback on the feedback, I gave LOL! Otherwise is this "reply on a comment botton" useless.
And thank you so much for all your kind comments, Tara :D

Beautiful use of shadows and light. And I agree on the stats. While the numbers aren't necessary they are fun.
With my right arm out of commission for now, I've learned my left hand has much to learn. I've been spending some time looking back through several galleries as It is much easier to just look!

Very nice capture Tara.
Maybe you can find out about how many pictures you uploaded by opening your gallery, counting the thumbnails on a page and then multiplying it by the page counter at the bottom.
With me I get about 1585 photos in the photo gallery.

Strong emphasis on a strong face!

Perfect lighting. In Le Louvre, there is too much light for that kind of capture.

Less than a thousand to go to catch up with his age Tara !!! A very nice shot and congrats on 3000.

A fantastic light on this arocratische face, Tara. It's very impressing, those 10 years, 9 month and 11 days. Wow, and your 3000, maybe all arrange in albums, you are a very clever girl.

I thought I'd commented on this---because it was no. 3000---or at least written to you about it. But it's possible I didn't do either---which would be an oversight and no more. 3000 is a big deal. (I bet i'm not even at 2000.) As for the pic, another fine piece of museum shooting, in which you capture the mystery of these objects emerging out of time. It has an almost ghost like appearance, even though it's very clear and present. More fine museum capture. And there's contrast here---not as etched as the contrast in my tree-window shot, but softer, more mysterious and tonal. (Dark and light, chiaroscuro, all about contrast.) Very magical shot. (And yes, the NAtkins is a great museum, and I'd love to see it one day.)
