Description
Just a little miniature sketch.. made with watercolor and fineliner this evening.
I have had slightly better eyes the past days. Its like I can find more clear holes in the Retina mist. I pray that it will last.
Have a beautiful day/evening. We have had grey, but peaceful weather today. Almost no wind. Love that.

A must full-size. I love the quick slopes here, your quick washes and the few lines you draw to give the 'direction'. I like the whole composition---the slopes to the road, the hills in the background, the house nestled right into the center. And those 3 trees, with dabs of red and olive green, etc. And the lighter hues in the background hills, and washes of light blue and yellow in the sky. It's spontaneous yet so well composed. A total delight.
(You know whose drawing I'm gonna refer you to now? Ana's! She of course has a verrrrry intense pen, and she shades deeply, and creates a very intense drawing. But here are, I think, her only 2 house-nestled-in-hills drawings in her gallery. THey're worth another look, since you've done so much drawing of late, and some with houses nestled in. You know these, but it's always worth studying ana another time:
