Description

The Inca tern (Larosterna inca) is a tern in the family Laridae. It is the only member of the genus Larosterna. This uniquely plumaged bird breeds on the coasts of Peru and Chile, and is restricted to the Humboldt Current. It is an erratic, rare visitor to the southwest coast of Ecuador. It can be identified by its dark grey body, white moustache on both sides of its head, and red-orange beak and feet.

Très belle photo ! Il est intéressant de constater que les couleurs de la Sterne Inca sont assez proches de celles d'autres oiseaux des régions antarctiques bien qu'il n'y ait aucun lien de parenté entre ces espèces ! C'est intéressant parce que c'est un phénomène que l'on peut observer partout ailleurs si on fait attention, mais on ne nous as pas (encore) appris à voir les choses de cette manière ; pour l'instant, l'humanité se satisfait de la vision mécaniste de Darwin ! Mais si ce bon vieux Charlie revenait aujourd'hui, nul doute qu'il jetterait les bases d'une autre théorie, encore plus révolutionnaire !! (la notion de "programme" était inconnue à son époque !) Une photo qui fait réfléchir...
