Well, Tchaikovsky will be happy to see this! I laughed when I saw this the first time ("Duck Lake"). It's also great to see your children images. I love the big clunky ducks doing ballet---cartoonlike characters with lots of detail: The ducks' lower tutu is marvelously lacy, with sheen. They have blood shot eyes too (maybe they were out drinking?), and duck feet doing ballet steps is the best. And the girl is a perfect child, smiling, proud, and fearless as she navigates the delicate world of ballet. Love those slippers---they're luminous. And the heart on her face, and her makeup. Pure delight.
(You said, in a comment in my gallery, that you knew about losing a child. If you lost a child, you have my deepest sympathies. I've known several people who have, and sat by them before and after; and I know it's like nothing else. I know you have several living children, with apparently more than a few birthdays this month! I hope all your children are healthy and happy---you celebrate them, and children in general, so beautifully in your art.)
