Description

This little fossilised turtle turd is one of my most precious possessions. Somebody gave it to me as a present, knowing that I would love it! This is a genuine fossil from the Eocene, approximately 47 to 33 million years old. Different lighting Here

You never cease to astonish me. I too, would cherish such a crappy gift. Not so much because it was once a turtle turd but because it is over 33 million years old. It is amazing because of it's age. It is amazing that it was found and identified. It is amazing that it came into your possession. It is amazing that I can now say I know someone who owns such a fascinating object. Thanks for sharing.

OK, I'll play. And here I thought you didn't take crap from anyone. A fascinating object. At first I thought it was a mutant gourd.

Talk of being constipated! What I don't understand is how something soft like this would last long enough to be fossilized. Nice photo of a rare thing! :-)
