Hello !
My name is Helle. I live in Denmark on the Island, Zealand. I have a husband and two sons and three grandchildren, so I am a happy person.
I like many kinds of art and I try to limit myself, but I dont succeed very well. I love my PSP9 and I think I use it every day. I like to draw, paint and experiment on canvas or paper and I wish I had time do it every day. My biggest wish is, that there would be 48 hours instead of the poor 24 a day. I just dont think it will ever happen ;)
A fantastic new world opened for me, when I was Introduced to Renderosity for the first time. I am very grateful to be a part if this site.

Still fantastic work!

I really like your style ... I keep seeing these "amazing" super-photo-realistic drawings in groups I belong to ... and as good as they are, and as much as I know the hard work that goes into them ... some of them lack substance, character and "soul" ... your has all of that!

I agree with Boni. Your still life work is in a class unto itself! I've got that one you accidentally sent me, the one with the daisy, framed and hanging over my sewing machine in our den in Texas, and I still enjoy it so much! :)

This looks really delicate to me, Helle. And I admire the result very much, my friend.

ditto Boni. Great comment. This piece has both meticulous care and spontaneity, you did it in 2 sittings. The wash and general paint on the pitcher and the fruits is very expressive. And you got a very vital angle in the table and cloth---Cezanne would have approved! And you did a lot with the folds too---and I love the quick washes in the background, emphasizing the verticals when the table emphasizes the angles. And your cross hatch intensifies everything. That pitcher dominates, and it's great that you put it off center---it lets the rest of the piece breathe. (And are those the "jew cookies" you mentioned to me? WHere in there world did they get that title? Do they have chicken fat in them, lol? Schmaltz? Or lox?) A big piece, Helle, I mean in all the things you did in it. Another terrific entry to your Inktober series...
