very good work on this scene. I think that dog is in for a really big surprise very shortly. I just hope he doesn't hurt the lovely lady when it all goes down.

I love how you combine foreground clarity with background mist and soft focus. The bike looks almost like a photograph, and yet it's semi-faded as is everything else back there. It makes this venetian snippet feel like a dream as much as a reality. Fascinating object-choice too---a dog (in a most unusual resting position---I wonder if your cartoon imagination enters into these 3D pieces), a teddy bear, strewn books and such, a stray cat, a red gondola against a muted gray/green/blue background...and all that behind a fully present wholly distracted female, dressed in a modern almost toga dress (maybe she transported over from Ancient Rome). Love the imagination in this. Really well done.
