My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.

Beautiful shot! One of the Columbia River bridges I haven't crossed.

Oh, what a gorgeous shot, Tara! The travlin' bug is certainly nibbling at the old heartstrings! I'll have to make a trip up there just to fly one of my drones under the bridge.. LOL I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around the concept that I don't have to wait a year before taking a vacation anymore.
Thanks for the dedication and wonderful photo, Tara! You rock!

What a beautiful view. Shortly after I retired a neighbor asked me how it felt. I told him it was like the weekend every day. Congrats, Rod. Here's to a lifetime of weekends.

A quiet place where I would love be in canoe.

Seems like we've been travelling the same roads. We were right here in July. I love the drive along the Columbia; it's a magnificent river and every inch of it has something different!!
