Description

Completed in 1963, the Beebe Bridge crosses the Columbia River at Chelan Falls. It replaced a historic suspension bridge built in 1919 that carried irrigation water for the Beebe Orchard Company. You can see the old towers just this side of the bridge. Just some of the beautiful scenery you'll see whenever you get up north, Rod! :) I'm thrilled you've retired and are having a good time! It's a good life, my friend.
Happy Birthday, Rod!

Oh, what a gorgeous shot, Tara! The travlin' bug is certainly nibbling at the old heartstrings! I'll have to make a trip up there just to fly one of my drones under the bridge.. LOL I'm still trying to get my head wrapped around the concept that I don't have to wait a year before taking a vacation anymore. 😎

Thanks for the dedication and wonderful photo, Tara! You rock!

What a beautiful view. Shortly after I retired a neighbor asked me how it felt. I told him it was like the weekend every day. Congrats, Rod. Here's to a lifetime of weekends.

Seems like we've been travelling the same roads. We were right here in July. I love the drive along the Columbia; it's a magnificent river and every inch of it has something different!!
