Description

This is a very rushed test of my dragon design. This is the Daz 3D Dragon 3, rendered in Poser 11 using the Live Comic Book Preview. I created four renders: Outlines, black, dark gray, light gray. I cleaned them in Photoshop and then combined them in Manga Studio, where I also did some touch-up. I did this one very quickly as a test of the general appearance, focusing mostly on the body shape and head. Even though I like how dramatic the solid-black wings look here, if this were going to go to print I would have spent some time cleaning up the wings and adding more detail and nuance. Nevertheless, it looks pretty good for a quickie.

Expertly done! I also like the solid black for the wings - they serve to frame the rest of the figure and draw the eye into it.
