Description

I have been having a lot of fun lately with Facegen Artist Pro. I purchased the program a couple of weeks ago and I've been seeing how good of a result I can get out of it. So I thought I would try to make a face that is not simple. Peter Capaldi's got a lot of unique facial features and I daresay is not easy to make a model of. I found some really good images first, and plugged them into the software and got a really good face map as a result. Now in order to get some detail to match, I used Shadermap 4 to generate a normal map and height map from the image. The result speaks for itself. This was just a test render with some sci-fi props that I threw together.

A rather impressive effort. The face does look like Peter Capaldi's.

Must be during his earlier adventures. Why? Well, his hair continued to get longer and fuller into his run until the closing scenes of "The Doctor Falls" when it seems to be overtaking his scalp! ;-)

Sincerely,

Bill

I think he would be very hard to get down but you got very near to what he looks like. Great work.
