C'est un hommage aux femmes de la Résistance, présentes, elles-aussi sur les barricades de la libération de Paris, mais dont la mémoire des hommes a gardé peu de traces photographiques.

Yes, there were women in the FFI, too. Very good pose but rather exposed. Excellent work! I've read Collins and LaPierre's book "Paris brûle-t-il?" in French in 1967. A very revealing book about the liberation of Paris and the different people involved.
