Sweep up the pine needles and clear out the dead plants, and you're half-way there! That bark siding is memorable.

It's always great to see Arlene, and also to see a friend of you both, and they make a really nice picture, incl with contrasting hues. You brought out the blue here very nicely too. And then there's the background: The detail on the siding is terrific, along with the deep reddish orange hue, and all the broken areas due to decay. Your crop brings us flush forward into this facade, which acts as a huge flat backdrop to the 2 women. Another of your scintillating detailed architecture shots, which has the added attraction of your wife and a friend right in the center of it all.
