I'm skipping, Dee, because I have to get to a few current pieces! It looks like you have photographs in here; and whatever you used, the detail on the child's overalls and bag and brushes and paints is wonderful. Love the paint all over her arms and on her face. Great skin tone and light, beautiful chocolate brown, and great eyes and expression. She looks totally at ease with her "revision," and I love her rainbow---so saturated and bold against that painting of more muted and amber/brown/beige/orange hues. A lot of fine detail in this image, with a very bold statement: The rainbow is a typical child's brilliance foisted on the complex world of adulthood. The girl has all those qualities, and the blinding white of her shirt brings that out all the more. Beautiful evocation of a child's point of view. Love it.
