My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Nope. No testing!! You will have to settle for my opinion that you have a wonderful talent for candid captures. Love this.

Well no one can say you didn't warn us. I kind of know who Cristal is but I'm having difficulty untangling the pile of spaghetti you described. This is a wonderful candid shot. You have a good looking family.

No chance of me remembering ! I make a list each day, 'get up, wash, brush teeth , feed dogs..'.you know the sort of thing. I usually remember who I am.
Superb portrait, Tara.

Oooh, NICE portrait! She looks very nice and happy! Keep up the good work! Makes me think, maybe you can become a portrait photographer when you can't travel around as much as you do. :-)

Tara, I'm sorry I can't comment on everything...my comments are too long, and take too much time for me (as you know), and still be able to visit everyone. I don't know how you do so many comments in one sitting, across many galleries. But you can rest assured that I spend lots of time on each image of yours, and when I comment, I give them my all. We can discuss any image I haven't commented on; I'm happy to talk about them anytime. And, I may have said this, but one of the reasons it takes me so long to comment is that my first drafts are like "notes"---they make no sense to anyone but me. So I have to read and rewrite---ugh---and I can't tell you how long that takes, esp as it's repeated over and over (per comment). So, again, I'll leave a sampling of comments...and I'll be back for more again. (There are still galleries I haven't even visited once, to show you how slow this has been...)
Full size we really see the glow you captured. And since you don't seem driven to make digital perfection in a number of your portraits, you get very warm and gentle captures...they don't feel worked to death. In fact, they have a bit of 'film' feeling to them. I like that Cristal is on one side, she steps into the shot. And you got her glow and very engaging smile. This style of portraiture is a natural for you. Beautifully done once more, Tara.
