Description

Hiya. Long time since I've posted. It's not an exciting scene - just wanted to experiment with fake radiosity. There's two lights in the hall and two outside.

Nice pic. I've tried a couple of these myself (not as nice as yours though). One spot light only? What were your settings?

Good fake out! Radiosity for something like this isn't too hard to do, it just takes a little time. The radiosity I used in my steam tunnel image worked out really well similar to this. Excellent work.

Hey thanks! I think what really helped was this thread in the forum: http://www.renderosity.com/messages.ez?ForumID=106&Form.ShowMessage=934699 about making glowing curtains. I saw that big bulb light in the floor and it all made sense. I can now see how the thought process would become increasingly complex as the scene becomes complex. But... it's worth it.
