Hi, I'm Andrea, and I'm interested in creatures and plants both wild and tamed, and people of all sorts. I only use a compact digital camera ,as I love being able to get it into a back pocket, and not have to cart heavy kit about. I carry a Panasonic Lumix TZ series, binoculars and a hand lens almost everywhere. Most of my outings are with the dogs so I only use point and shoot.
I am getting the hang of Photoshop, thanks to some very kind folk on RR!
I have a wildlife garden in Bournemouth, Dorset, in the UK, and spend a lot of time there . I retired from teaching art to teenagers a while ago.
I'm now getting some good results with my digi compacts; it took me a while to make the switch from my old film camera, an 1960 ish Pentax Spotmatic, but the mistakes are much cheaper!
I have 4 lodgers, 3 dogs and a parrot who, as at 2017, I have had 40 years.
I has so far had 19 dogs, mostly rescues.

Oh sure, blame ME! Actually, a pretty funny image. It is said that if you can lie on the floor without hanging on you are not that drunk. I suppose that works for beds as well.

HAHA! That reminds me of once when I was a 7-8 years old girl, my parents had a party in a tiny summer house we borrowed of my uncle. There were only room for a bed like that in two levels.. They had a couple of friends who brought a little too much of the strong alcohol, so my dad got too drunk and had to go to bed. Next morning his teeth were on the floor grining at us. :)

Pesk on a desk. Pair on a chair. Tramp on a lamp. Elf on a shelf. Bill (police) on a sill.
My goodness! The possibilities are almost endless, aren't they?

to helle's story, I could add 200 of my own (when I drink, I'm under the table). Love this one. The drunk guy has really seen better days. And there are those deep notch creases (for wrinkles) again---see, I keep bringing up details like this, but they are the essence of characterful cartooning...you have a bevy of things you put into doodles and cartoons that make them all your own. I love how he straddles the bed, and the bottles and crushed can...and mouse and cat. And a lady on top---she's from another cartoon! Love her headphones, and corpse-like pose. She ain't wakin' up for NO one. Great job, Andrea. Boy am I glad you did all these in October. November will be a spare, bleak month indeed...
