I see everything you post, and I sit with it. I just can't comment because of my slowness. So why did I stop for this? When the composition is found in several others of your pieces? Because you do this so well. You have a way with winding compositions. Winding compositions can be obvious, of course (pat, commercial nature photography is filled with them, where the photographer figures the mere presence of such a composition can substitute for fine photography, a natural "oooooh" getter). But yours are always new, fresh and committed. Part of it is the gentle 'shimmer' of the shot---a wee bit of grain or light-dots, I haven't got the word. Part of it is the constant green-yellow light (from the leaves) that draws us into every level of the shot for their beautiful hues. Part of it is the contrast of crumbled wood and "sawdust" on the stairs---not to mention their deep reddish browns---in contrast with the leafy grainy, green and yellow leaves and moss around it. All the horizontals are balanced by those tall majestic trees in the upper 2/5. Another beautiful piece, with the right crop on all sides.
