Description

We see that this is a monument to the guy who invented brown, spicy mustard. At least that's how I remembered him from the mugs full of mustard which we bought from the ACME and A & P. (http://www.plochman.com/products/kosciusko-spicy-brown-mustard/) A monument to the efforts of engineer-extraordinaire Thaddeus Kosciusko. He also worked on the fortifications of West Point and a few other Merkin strong points. The preceding (following) image lists battlefields where he plied his skills. (Ya gotta zoom to read it.) And behind this, we see another traditional-style monument. I wonder where we are going next? Not Albany. Enjoy; thanks for viewing.

very impressive! It appears that he CAN cut the mustard!

OK, I asked for that! (Should have seen the set up I was laying out.)

Never would have figured that the guy who made my favorite condiment for my pastrami and Swiss on rye was a soldier.

Very nice tribute.

I can believe that. It goes very good with Lebanon Bologna and pretzel sandwiches (thin pretzels added to the sandwich for extra texture).

I remember him from American history class, the revolution. I didn't know there was a mustard with the same name. I wonder what it tastes like? Thanks for the post. We can all stand to learn something. Keep up the good work! :-)

A nice, heavy brown taste similar to dark German mustards. IMO K has more "zap" to the flavor. Hefty. Goes good with kielbasa sausages with fried onions and fried green pepper. (Dang! Now I'm hungry!)
