Description

_____ This is the view that King Ludwig II of Bavaria had from the Royal Hunting Lodge, overlooking majestic alpine valleys without absolutely any farms or chalets around. This particular valley here, is called Reintal, with part of the highest mountain of Germany in the distance, the Zugspitze.
.....The link to the impressive trail from the valley to Schachen ( the King's house) is shown herethanks to Google Earth
.....You can also see what Schachen looks like in this videoor in that quick round viewof the place.
....Thank you so much for your nice comments for my previous Bavarian photo, and have a nice weekend.

I thought at first that this was somewhere in the Himalayas. Truly a breathtaking mountain scene. Could you give me a pair of wings so I can soar over those mountains, please? :)

I want to imagine there's a fairytale castle hidden somewhere in these mountains!

Magnifique photo !
