Just a pleasant street scene on an ordinary day. Everything is as it should be.But don't look too closely at the glowing tree or you might get the feeling something is trying to break through from another dimension. But that can't be, can it? Not here. Not now.

Some of your images really do remind me of the 'Outer Limits' or 'The Twilight Zone'. Good stuff.

There is something about Staircases, isnt there? The geometric feeling is so appealing to me. Love this shot. :)

Such elegance! It is a sign of my ageing body that my first thought was how breathless making those lovely stairs would be!

An interesting flattened look that does seem to mimic a 3D render style. The elegant staircase is, of course, the focal point, but my eyes are also drawn to those neon bright green highlights on the shrub & tree at lower right...

It seems that someone has stopped to blow the cleaning in front of the stairs (definitely will have to answer the phone (LOL))!! Gorgeous flowering of climbing bells (Morning Glory in your Language, If I'm not mistaken) on the handrail of the staircase in the foreground!! Really a nice and interesting photo!!5c26e4eb0a5219e73e45123d35b5c04b.jpg

This has a wonderful deamlike quality - it's not quite real, or is it? One has to give it more than a look to be sure... And even then....

I love the way you've combined the hints of electric greens with the photo, Mark. It almost looks like the leaves and tree in the foreground are plugged in, and glowing slightly. Very cool!

I was surprised to see people mentioning the green. I mean ... yeah ... it's acid green and glowing ... but the color study for me is the way the brick red and fuchsias show up over and over. The morning glory blooms, the blanket (or whatever) on the sidewalk, red flowers in the window boxes, and the red brick buildings peeking through. The red takes my eye through the picture over and over again, up along the reds and down the stairs, back up the reds and down the stairs again. My eye slides over the greens, no matter now bright. When I get to the tarp (or whatever), the broom sends my eye back up again. Wonderful composition and movement, and quite engaging!
