That's some confusing mixed up wires. Wonder who left this like spagetti? Cool capture, Mark. Glad I'm not there to figure it out.

Mike put his finger on it although my experience was in Old Delhi in India. Not enough outlets? Just keep adding to the main line until it catches fire.

Now there is a drastic bunch of wire Spaghetti, which I had never thought you could find in Chicago. Have seen some insane examples of those in the only towns of south Europe. Amazing that they even can work. :) UH... where did I see this in Denmark? OH yeah! Behind my computer screen 😛

this is proof we all lead way too complicated lives... the twisted chaos of the power lines against the backdrop of a (in my mind) church steeple. one is hectic and one is peaceful and calm.

I am always intrigued by photos about wirings; maybe my mind is like that, also. Fascinating!

The tangle of wires does form a wonderful "leading line(s)" element that leads the eye right to the steeple. Who knew such utilitarian things could be art? LOL

I does remind me of all the cables running all over the room here... At least since the renovation, they're up off the floor....LOL

What a mess! It's a wonder some city inspector doesn't come along and cut it all down, passing out fines as he goes. I'm always amazed when I see something like this. It must be safe, because it's not on fire, but wow ... it's worrisome!
