A beautifully designed interior, it has an older feel while it's also very modern. (The floor pattern is definitely 18th C or maybe later in origin; but the rest of the room has a sleek modern touch as well.) And I love the shape of the chairs, and that great tall vase in the left corner (and the vases in the right corner with those great jagged branches). The woman stands like someone from the 19th C novel, she seems almost pining (I realize she's inviting someone in): You gave her a concealed but inviting pose; and another fine gown, with beautiful lace etc. It's a very open scene, but (this'll sound corny, but it feels this way) filled with longing. Beautifully done. And the dark lighting is perfect for her mood.
