At a neighbor's house, from our walk yesterday. This neighbor is a good friend of ours (she joined us on our walk) & decorates her yard with objects like this for every season & holiday...

I'm at 50 minutes, and I've only done 6 images, that's why I have to skip...I loved this immediately for the perfect crop and proportions. I love the presence of that rag-doll scare-crow-y creature, who gives a human relaxed plopping presence to an otherwise very geometric surrounding (post, fence, house with pillars, etc, and the tall straight trunks of the tree). The yellow bursts out of the doll's head. And the pumpkin is a perfect side prop (so to speak): Studio photographers create these compositions purposely. And the slope of the roof meets the doll's head, as does the straight beige-colored house on the left. You couldn't have produced a better pov if you tried. You found the perfect composition. Love the shot, and the doll seems to be having a great time too...
